We will often have viewers ask "What music is that?".

If it's not licensed music from Epidemic Sound, it's likely our own original incidental music. There are three of us who are all musicians (one of us studied composition at masters level), have DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations), and can throw together some background music for a section of video. This is especially so if there's a video, say set in the 60s, and we want that 60s sound but can't put our finger on the right piece of licensed music. We can create that feel ourselves. Sometimes we do it well, sometimes mediocre, but it's under dialogue and seems to serve the purpose well.

However, it is time consuming and we don't necessarily want to be spending more time writing music than the other writing and creating tasks required to get these videos done.

So for those who are trying to find the music using Shazam or something similar and nothing comes up... It's probably our original soundtrack.
